The Tomten Visit

There is a book that my wife really enjoys called “The Tomten” by Astrid Lindgren. She likes to have me read it to her as she falls asleep. In the last few months I have been adding an additional visit by the Tomten to the farm’s beehives.

The Tomten stopped by the beehive to refill the entrance feeder. The Tomten talks to them in tomten language, a silent little language the bees can understand.

“Springs come and springs go,
Nectar come and nectar go,
Soon you won't be needing this feeder.”
